I personally do not know of anyone who has attempted admission into a University with a CA.
Professors expert letters range up to $900.00+ with most firms. We rarely charge more than $550.00 Each case is different and it depends on the research needed.
In India, only UGC (University Grant Commission) is qualified to issue equivalency letters. Professor letter can be supplemental, but it can not be authentic certification, as UGC is only one to issue that.

Here is my situation:
Company A:
EB2 PD Aug 2006
140 Approved
485 Applied July '07 (Got EAD and AP for myself and wife. I am still on H1B but wife used EAD)
Still working with Company A and intend to work with them for another couple of years.
Company B:
EB2 PD Nov 2005 (Substitution labor)
140 Approved.
Can I interfile or do the PD porting so that I can get the older PD? If so, do I have to work for Company B?
I dont have a copy of the LCA and I may not have the original of the approved 140. Can I use a copy of 140 approval notice to apply for the interfile?
Do I need any kind of document from Company B like employment letter in future ?
Does the PD need to be current to interfile?
Do I need to work for Company B?
Does this process in anyway create problems for my current 485 status? My wife used EAD but I have been on H1B with the company that filed for my 485.
I already completed 180 days after filing 485. So, I can use AC21. Will this interfiling process have any impact on that?

My case is similar to yours except for me the company was the same for both I140s. The only thing my lawyer sent with the request was the Original I140 Approval Notice on the Second (Older PD) I140 (In your case that is Company A's I140). When the AOS application was filed, the Original I140 of Company A was used. The basic content of the letter is already explained in previous posts on this thread. Read them carefully. Also, consult a prudent and capabale lawyer who has some experience in successful Interfiling cases.
If both the I140s are approved on your name, there should be no issue as they have already done all the work related to Proferred Wage, DOL work categories (SOC codes), etc. AOS is just for adjustment into PR status on the basis of approved I140, of which you have two.
I am no lawyer, therefore, please consult a good lawyer to make sure all your questions are answered.

Lou has branded an entire national communiy in his hate filled rhetoric. I appreciate that good people differ in their views on immigration, but this crosses the line. H1b is "cheap Indian labor" and "overstay their visas" ??
Lou believes in quoting no facts, just bullishly repeating such views. Nobody who disagrees can ever get a word in. I am a specialist physician with multiple degrees and board certifications. I practice in underserved communities, speak fluent English and pay my taxes. My visa status is and always has been legal. Do I meet the Lou standards? I am waiting in an endless line for a green card that keeps me at the bottom based on my country of birth. So much for Lou's cheap labor! Has everyone forgotten his tacit support for outsourcing in his "other professional life"?
Shame on CNN for allowing this. I, for one, have no further interest in this channel.

1) Advanced my engagement date. Tried to arrange an earlier marriage date. Placed everybody involved, my fiancee, her parents, her brothers, my parents and myself under huge pressure. All the bad reputation which I am facing now because of all that.
2) Bad reputation at work for not focusing on the job and the time that I took off from work to fix appointments for medical.
3) Most importantly the frustration and disappointment from this huge mess.
Lessons learned:
1) DO NOT trust USCIS or DOS, they are here not to help us nor make things easier for us.
2) G.C. process is mainly based on luck and not on merit.
3) We Indians have a bad reputation among Americans, for their allegations that we are taking away their jobs.
4) Bottomline, our life in USA is coming to an close. Time to have our bags packed and ready to relocate back to home.

H1B transfer was regular transfer but my new employer used the same job code as specified in labor.
My attorney, then send the AC21 with new employer offer letter to uscis.

Do you really have to notify USCIS about you are changing employer as my lawyer told me its not required and this is one of the best lawyer, i did my H1 B trasfered before even my I 485 application may be thats why.
Would it be a problem for me if i transfered my H1 B even before i apply for I 485, as my lawyers explaination to that was as I 485 is for Future Employment and has nothing to do with the current employment.

Taking up the DREAM Act issue will strengthen the IV cause...by showing how legals are getting short-changed from every angle on the entire immigration issue.
It requires a very small change in the DREAM Act as contained in CIR. Just remove the clause that says it will apply to Z visa holders. In any case, Z visa no longer exists since CIR failed. But I am afraid the will replace it by some condition requiring undocumented presence. Remaining conditions apply to legals as well:
(from the failed CIR)
� Have maintained continuous physical presence in the U.S. since 1/1/07
� Was under 30 years of age on date of enactment
� Was under age 16 at time of initial entry into U.S.
� Have obtained U.S. high school diploma or GED
� Have not been absent from the U.S. for more than 365 total days during period of conditional residence (except those absent due to U.S. military service)
� Have acquired a degree from a U.S. higher ed institution; or completed 2 years in Bachelor�s degree program or higher at such an institution; or have served at least 2 years in the U.S. military
� Has provided a list of all of the secondary educational institutions he or she has attended in the U.S

Please think about the amount of effort that is going on to plan for this rally.
- The mental effort required to plan the logistics of such a huge event
- The physical energy required to make all this a possibility
- The amount of time the members working on this are sacrificing.. time that they could have spent with family or other gainful things
- The financial impact this is causing to the invloved members
and all just not for themselves but for all of US.
What is your contribution to this effort?
